A Bumper Year for Awards

Award Winning Xero Partner

At LHP we are bucking the trend of economic downturn and celebrating a clutch of national awards for our cutting-edge cloud accounting services.

As the LHP business continues to grow, despite the challenges presented by the Covid-19 pandemic and as an independent business based in West Wales, we scooped 4 prestigious awards this year placing us nationally as Xero cloud accounting specialists among large firm competitors.

This summer we bagged finalist for Xero UK large firm of the year, placing us against UK large firms nationally.  This was something we never expected as a regional Welsh firm and it really put us on the map as a serious Xero cloud accounting vendor in the UK.

At LHP our turnover is now in the millions with over 80 staff and 8,000 clients and growing. We’ve grown from one small office to 6 spanning West Wales as we continue to help people with Making Tax Digital compliance (moving to digital accounts) – serving lifestyle businesses up to multi-million-pound affairs. The employees are mostly in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire, remaining firmly Welsh.

Our simple philosophy is to help people thrive, adapt and grow, demystifying cloud accounting and simplifying your finances in order to free up your time to grow. We also wanted to provide a number of specialisms under one roof from tax, business advisory and payroll services, to probate, and outsourced directorships.

In another award this year, LHP was winner of Cloud Accounting Specialists 2022 (watch this space for the announcement). This award seeks to recognise and reward those that contribute highly in their field.

Other awards this year included a shortlisted entrepreneurship accolade for the work of our director Janet Collins as a business mentor and role model (shortlisted from over 1000 applicants with an award night pending) and a national finalist place as independent accounting practice of the year with Finance Awards Wales.

For much of the pandemic we were described by clients as their ‘fourth emergency service’, helping with furlough claims and supporting on cash flow matters and sourcing grants. Many contact us at the point of needing to go ‘next level’ with the business.
