Tim Lewis, founder of Carmarthen Dental Centre and West Wales Dental Implant Clinic explains his journey of business growth as a dental expert.

Tell us about your businesses.

I’ve run a dental practice in Carmarthen since 1993 and the West Wales Dental Implant Clinic since 2012. We opened Carmarthen Dental Centre in 2021. Our principal dentist at the new refurbished Carmarthen Dental Centre is Dr Olly Badham who comes with a wealth of 17 years’ experience. The practice is state-of-the-art and fully digital. You can access treatments ranging from non-mercury fillings and root canal treatments to cosmetic crown/bridge treatments, tooth whitening, dental implants and facial aesthetics like non-surgical face lifts.

What challenges did you face when you joined us?

I returned to my roots after 10 years of working in South Africa. My accountant in South Africa was unfamiliar with systems, from tax to other financial matters. I needed forward-thinking accountants who knew their stuff and were very approachable. LHP are all those things. I have been with LHP since 2012.

What are the key benefits since joining LHP?

LHP has been fantastic over the past decade! I benefit from a range of services including Xero cloud accounts, business advisory and tax matters.
