£1m ‘Barriers to Start Up’ Grant (Wales)

Welsh Government is launching a £1m fund to support out of work and young people not in education or training to start their own businesses. Barriers To Start Up is a £1m fund of up to £2,000, part of a package that will include one-to-one advice and webinars to build confidence in business practices and develop start-up plans.

If successful, applicants will be expected to consider the role they play in adopting values of equality and sustainability in their new business. Funding priority will be given to individuals facing barriers to start-up and those furthest away from the employment market.

If you fit the criteria, find out more and how to apply via the below Gov Wales link.
