Wales Invests £366m to Deliver All-Age Apprenticeships

Apprenticeships

Welsh Government has announced its pledge to invest £366m over the next 3 years to deliver 125,000 all-age apprenticeships across Wales. The investment aims to ensure that at least 90% of 16-24 year olds are in Wales education, employment, or training by 2050.

The apprenticeships will increase opportunities for people of all ages to develop transferable skills in the workplace and boost opportunities and new recruits will be the priority across Wales.

Employing an Apprentice

Apprenticeships are a cost-efficient way to create a more flexible workforce, helping to support current and future skills needs. Whether you choose to recruit, re-train or redeploy your workforce providing them with job knowledge and relevant skills is essential to help your business grow.
