Extra £30m for Wales Hospitality, Leisure & Tourism

The Welsh Government has this week announced a further £30 million for sector specific businesses affected by ongoing coronavirus restrictions.
The latest round of the Economic Resilience Fund (ERF) will target small, medium and large businesses in the hospitality, tourism and leisure (HTL) sectors plus related supply chain businesses. Only hospitality, leisure and tourism or related supply chain businesses that employ 10 or more staff will be able to apply.
However, should restrictions be extended at the 12 March review, the £150m that will be made available would see businesses in the hospitality, tourism, leisure and non-essential retail sectors that pay non-domestic rates receiving an additional payment of up to £5k regardless of the number of employees they have.
The Sector Specific Grant application phase 2 window opens at 10am on Tuesday 9 March 2021 until 8pm on Friday 12 March 2021.
