Farm Business Grant – Yard Coverings
A new scheme, Farm Business Grant – Yard Coverings, will open for expressions of interest on the 9th November and close on the 18th December 2020, with a budget of £1.5m.
The Farm Business Grant – Yard Coverings scheme will support roofing over any previously uncovered existing livestock feeding areas, livestock gathering areas, manure storage areas, existing slurry stores and existing silage stores. The scheme will also support some secondary items, including rainwater goods for existing buildings, rainwater harvesting systems and slurry analysis kits.
An online expression of interest will require applicants to indicate on a digital map where most of the items will be located including a requirement to submit before geo-tagged photographs. Successful applicants will be required to submit after geo-tagged photographs as part of the claim process.
Unlike previous rounds, there is no requirement for a partner in the business to attend a strategic awareness event before applying for grant funding at up to 40% of set standard costs.
