How To Claim 4th Self-Employed Grant

A fourth SEISS grant for self-employed UK workers affected by the pandemic, is available to claim online at Gov.uk from late April, to cover February to April-end this year.
The self-employed can claim 80% of their average monthly profits, capped at £2,500 – and those ‘eligible based on tax returns’, will be contacted by HMRC mid-April, to give a date to claim from. For this 4th grant, £600k has been put aside for the newly self-employed – unlike the previous three grants, reserved for those working 2018-2019 and 2019-2020.
How to apply
If you are a self-employed individual or a member of a partnership:
- make your claim on or before 1 June 2021 and make it yourself.
- meet eligibility criteria for the 4th grant.

5th grant
The Chancellor also confirmed a 5th grant in his Spring Budget, which will open to claims from late July and covers the period May until July.
