Rachael has brought a wealth of experience with her from a previous role at a Top 10 National Accountancy firm, serving the South Wales marketplace and working across a diverse range of business sectors.

“I am delighted to be made a director alongside Eirian Humphreys, Janet Collins, Dafydd Rees and Rhys Jones. LHP is at the cutting edge of cloud technology and is multi-award-winning. As a Xero Platinum Partner, we are a leading firm set up to help businesses with the switch to Making Tax Digital the new government initiative to modernise income tax.

“I am excited to contribute to the directorship team and provide my ideas to the business. We are approaching a difficult time ahead with the cost of living crisis and we play an important role in helping advise our clients through this difficult time just as we did through the pandemic” said Rachael.

“Our modern dynamic practice has such a strong reputation and is continuously growing and stands at 8,000 clients strong now with 6 offices across South Wales housing 80 staff. I’m keen to use the skills developed over the course of my career so far to maximum efficiency for clients, and support growth of the firm.”

Rachael is originally from West Wales and was drawn to LHP to be able to return to working in the local business community within an accountancy firm that met her values.  Rachael is passionate about building long-term relationships with clients, providing proactive business advice to assist with making an informed decision on the way ahead. She advises on a wide range of matters from specialist tax issues with her wealth of knowledge in SMEs and personal and business tax planning, to business advisory, property investment, development and capital allowances. Living in South Pembrokeshire when not working she enjoys being outdoors on our fantastic coastline, walking, cycling and paddle boarding.
