Matthew Williams is Managing Director at LHP based at the HQ in Carmarthen. Having worked previously with National firms in Cardiff, Matthew has brought his experience to Carmarthenshire to assist clients, with a broader outlook.
As a qualified Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Advisor, Matthew advises on a wide range of matters, including specialist tax issues. As the LHP Audit and Tax partner, Matthew works at a local level, dealing with regional businesses to provide efficient, cost-effective solutions.

Matthew firmly believes in communicating with clients and is in regular contact with them, to ensure he’s available to provide timely, suitable advice.
Matthew lives in St Clears and married to Sarah, with three children. He enjoys playing golf and supports the local and national rugby teams. He is a keen reader of fiction, especially Matthew Reilly and James Patterson and likes to keep fit by playing squash and swimming. Matthew is also an active member of Carmarthen Round Table, which raises money for local charities. During the winter, he coaches the local junior rugby teams.
Eirian Humphreys is Agriculture Director at LHP, based at their HQ in Carmarthen. Having worked on his family farm for a number of years, Eirian decided on a change of career in 2000, and joined a local accountancy practice. Over the following five years Eirian worked in Carmarthen and Swansea, during which time he studied to become a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), which he successfully completed in 2005, and then later became a fellow (FCCA).
Having then returned to Carmarthenshire, he worked in Ammanford before taking over an accountancy practice in Carmarthen in May 2008, which he then developed and expanded over the following fifteen months. In August 2009, Eirian joined LHP as a partner, where he was able to use his substantial agricultural knowledge, to assist the client base. Eirian added to his ACCA qualification in 2010 by gaining Chartered Accountant status (ACA) and then in 2020, fellow membership (FCA).
Eirian’s agricultural background and extensive experience gained in accountancy, has given him an in-depth knowledge of a variety of businesses, including:
Eirian speaks Welsh fluently and strongly believes in providing a personal service to each of his clients.
Eirian lives in Llangain with his partner Bet. His interests include rugby, DIY and gardening and he spends a lot of his weekend time at his favourite seaside town, Aberaeron.
Janet Collins is a director at LHP based at their HQ in Carmarthen. Janet started her accountancy career in a Llandovery accountancy practice in 1984, before moving to a larger Swansea accountancy firm, to gain more experience. While in Swansea, she continued her accountancy training. She joined LHP in 2008 as a fully qualified certified accountant. With over 30 years’ experience in the profession, Janet has gained invaluable knowledge in:
Janet deals a lot with care homes, consultancy companies, retail traders and the construction industry. She is active is various West Wales women’s networking events – a niche area for her.
Janet is an expert in demystifying Cloud accounting and can act as finance director, bookkeeper or advisor. Helping small businesses take control of their finances.
Janet likes to know all about her clients! How they operate. Why they started. And what their goals and objectives are. And they’re welcome to know the same about her. Janet believes, if you ‘get’ each other, then clients get the best advice and are confident all financial areas of their business are taken care of – not just accounts or tax returns.
Janet enjoys regular contact with clients to ensure the personal touch is maintained and is a fluent Welsh speaker, which is useful, as many of her clients are too.
Janet is married with two children and in her free time, she enjoys motorsport, reading , eating out and spending time with her family and dogs. She also acts as a Councillor on the Llandybie Community Council and was their Chairperson in 2017/18.
Dafydd Rees is a director at LHP, based at their HQ in Carmarthen. Dafydd is a qualified accountant and fellow member of The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. Dafydd has over 20 years’ experience in the accountancy and audit sectors.
Throughout his career, he has gained a wealth of expertise and experience working with a wide range of clients, from sole traders and family-run businesses, to large companies and charities.

Associate Director – Lampeter Practice
Rhys Jones is an Associate Director at LHP and Practice Manager of LHP Lampeter. Rhys attended Cardiff University, obtaining a degree in Accounting in 2003 and a Masters degree in Finance in 2004. Rhys then joined a regional accountancy firm in Cardiff and went to on qualify as a Chartered Certified Accountant. Rhys gained his post-qualification experience with a national firm in South Wales. There he carried out various assignments – for both owner-managed businesses and Not-For-Profits, focusing in the main on auditing services.
Rhys is a fluent Welsh speaker and in 2013 he decided to return to his West Wales roots and join LHP. Rhys enjoys all kinds of sport, including running and squash and is a keen follower of The Scarlets and Wales Rugby.
Associate Director – Haverfordwest Practice
Lisa Oliver is an Associate director at LHP and the Practice Manager at LHP Haverfordwest. Specialising in agriculture, Lisa advises a diverse portfolio of agricultural clients and provides accounting, VAT and tax advice for farmers, landowners and agriculturally-related businesses. Lisa also assists on client management accounts, budgeting and cashflow forecasts.
Lisa graduated from Harper Adams University College before embarking on her career in accountancy with a Gloucestershire firm of accountants, in their Farms and Estates team. Here she spent 13 years, before making the move to Pembrokeshire in 2020.
Lisa is also a governor for Hartpury University and Chairman of the Audit Committee.
Tenby Practice Manager
Amanda is Practice Manager and qualified accountant for LHP Tenby. Her role involves managing the busy office where 8 staff reside. Amanda’s career has always been in the Pembrokeshire region, which has given her lots of local knowledge and experience in sectors like tourism. She represents hundreds of caravan owners across Wales and in the UK. Amanda has worked independently for several local businesses, has FMAAT status and became a qualified accountant in 2017. Amanda transitioned to LHP during the acquisition of the Alexander Partnership. Amanda’s wealth of knowledge ranges from sole traders up to large companies and includes:

Cross Hands Operations Manager
Sajid is the Operations Manager at LHP Cross Hands. He completed his BSc (hons) in Mathematics and Computer Science at Swansea University. After finishing his studies, he joined a South Wales accountancy firm and has been in the industry for over 15 years now. While working, he became ACCA part qualified, then joined KRC Chartered Accountants (now LHP) in 2013 as a Senior Manager.
Sajid enjoys working with numbers, investigating and resolving issues and finds it rewarding helping people solve their problems and reach their financial goals. He has a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the following sectors:

Senior Client Manager
I’m Cerith, I am a Client Manager at LHP, working out of the Carmarthen office and occasionally Cross Hands. My LHP experience is mainly in Audit, Limited Companies and Charities. Predominantly I work closely with larger clients to streamline their finance functions. Clients should be spending time on their businesses not in their businesses. I have been with LHP since 2012 and passed my ACCA in 2016. Migration certified in Xero, moving clients to the cloud is a breeze. In my spare time I’m a keen footballer with Ammanford AFC.
Senior Digital Manager
Hi I’m Samantha Hart, LHP Digital Manager based at HQ in Carmarthen. My work is heavily involved in managing the impact of the Making Tax Digital HMRC initiative here at LHP. I joined LHP in 2010, gained my ACCA qualification and then progressed to specialising in cloud accounts, helping businesses improve how they run their finance departments and train clients.
In my time here at LHP, I’ve gained valuable knowledge in accounts preparation, cloud accounting systems and online apps for cloud accounting systems across many sectors. I enjoy long walks with the dog, 4×4 off-roading with my father and sister and family days out.
Hello, I’m Mathew, Operations Manager at LHP Carmarthen. I attended Aberystwyth University, obtaining a First Class (Hons) degree in Accountancy and Finance in 2013. I then joined a Swansea based practice obtaining his ACCA qualification in 2017 and later joined LHP in 2019. Over the course of my career I gained a wealth of knowledge and I predominantly work with larger limited companies, corporate audits and share re-structuring arrangements. I’m a fluent Welsh speaker and in my spare time enjoy keeping active and reading.
Senior Agri Pod Leader
Hello, I’m Elin, a Senior Accountant (Senior Agri Pod Leader) managing the Agriculture team at LHP’s Carmarthen office. I joined LHP in 2016 and gained my ACA qualification in 2019. I mainly work within the agricultural sector, preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. I’m responsible for the preparation of accounts and have experience in VAT, bookkeeping and helping clients move to digital accounting software to comply with Making Tax Digital requirements. I am also certified in Xero, QuickBooks and Freeagent software. As a fluent Welsh speaker, I enjoy my time as a Carmarthenshire YFC Member and helping out on the family farm when I’m not working.

Hi, my name is Shona and I have worked in LHP’s tax department for over 10 years. I qualified as a Chartered Tax Adviser in 2018 and can advise on all aspects of taxation, especially personal, trust and estate, and owner managed business tax matters.
Hello I’m Katie, the Tax Manager at LHP Carmarthen. I’m ATT qualified and have worked in Taxation since 2012. After graduating from Aberystwyth with a degree in Accounting & Finance, I moved to Manchester to begin my taxation career. There I worked in a busy Corporation Tax team primarily in the motor trade industry. After 5 years I moved back to Carmarthenshire in 2017, to work for a Swansea accountancy firm as a Tax Senior with a varied client base in Personal and Corporation Tax and advising on Capital Allowances, including on-site reviews.
I joined LHP Chartered Accountants in 2020, heading up the tax team for LHP. We manage a portfolio of 2,000+ clients, providing assistance with compliance services like Self-Assessment Tax Returns, Tax Credit renewals, Capital Gains Tax reporting requirements and various advisory services. I’m a fluent Welsh speaker and when I’m not working, I enjoy family time, meeting up with friends and taking the dog for walkies!
Hi, I’m Ken, a VAT Accountant at LHP Carmarthen and have worked here for 4 years now. The role involves anything and everything VAT, imports, exports, foreign VAT registrations, vehicle NOVA declarations, Property Option to Tax, DIY Claims, CIS VAT Reverse Charging, and of course the normal registration/deregistration/VAT return preparations.
I’m an ex HMRC VAT inspector of 15 years and have a BSc in Maths from the OU and a BSc in Business Management from Trinity University of Wales. I enjoy walking the dog, Motocross, cycling (MTB) and playing guitar in my spare time.

Hi I’m Yasha, a Client Manager at LHP Cross Hands. I have worked in the Cross Hands office since November 2012.
