Client Stories: Kronva
We caught up with Mike Evans founder of Kronva Ltd an IT company based in Wales specialising in database management and support (AWS Partner Network Consulting Partner) and a client of ours in Lampeter, to find out how LHP helped their business free up time to grow since inception in 2016.
What does Kronva do, tell us a bit about your background and how it came about?
For 20 years I sold database consulting to banks in the City and saw the very negative consequences of the trend for off-shore IT services to lower-cost countries. I moved back home to Wales armed with the insight and experience I gained in outsourced IT services and founded Kronva to address this (IMO) failing off-shore market.
My key principles were – build a company using only UK-based consultants delivering high calibre database support and professional services remotely to companies of all sizes and sectors in the UK and further afield. Our remote working model and experienced staff made Kronva’s offering highly cost-effective and exceptional value for money compared to our competitors in the UK and abroad.
Very quickly we became the go-to consultancy for niche technologies, SAP ASE and IQ. Since then, we broadened our technology base to include other database technologies and even built a data analytics and cloud migration practice, partnering with AWS, Microsoft, Incorta and Kinetica.
What benefits have you seen since joining LHP?
When I approached what is now LHP in 2016 as a start up, I needed an accountancy firm that was dynamic and flexible to my needs and able to understand our complex business model, including some other businesses I run. Oh and I wanted my personal tax matters taken care of too.
Rhys Jones Associate Director at LHP has been great! He got us onto a digital accounting platform and helped us with all of the set up. Our fixed monthly fee helps us plan our budgets and cloud accountancy saves time – real time data provides great insights, so it’s a win-win. If I were to describe LHP in 3 words it would be ‘expert, reliable and trustworthy’.
If you found this story inspiring and need a helping hand to free up your finances to spend time growing your business, let’s talk.
